Our approach to new grass
- Till and remove old soil and grass
- Replace with new soil, fertilize area
- Plant Raleigh St. Augustine pads
Care Instructions:
- Water each zone 1st for about an hour on first day
- Water 4 times a week 20 minutes each zone
- After 4th week water only 3 times a week 20 minutes each zone
- Water only between the hours of 5am - 9am
Over-watering your lawn not only makes for a higher water bill but can also lead to fungal disease. It is better not to water than to water wrong. How do you know when your using the right amount of water?
Take a tuna can and place in next to your sprinkler when you water. When the can is full your lawn has enough water. The tuna can represents the depth of one soaking inch of water necessary to have a healthy watered lawn. Neat thing about this is you only have to water twice a week this way. If the summer gets hotter you may have to water once more during the week when temperatures reach in the triple digits. Only water in the early mornings from 5am - 9am. Top of Page

Are you moving or need transportation of goods or courier services?
Macgyver Services can help. If you know of someone whom is in need of a truck/ trailer for hire moving furniture from one residence to another please contact us. We will provide the transportation of loaded items by you the customer from one location to the next. You the mover are responsible for getting the helpers you need to move the items loaded. Macgyver Services will provide the transporation, blankets for wrapping, and tie down straps. Your responsible for the loaded property in making sure nothing comes loose and falls off the trailer. We don't provide boxes, those may be purchased through U-Haul. Keep in mind we do offer competitive moving transportation rather than getting a U-Haul truck for the day. No hassle rental agreements or deposits. All transactions are for fuel and rental of our vehicle/and driver from one location to the next. Signature of liability is available for your review upon hiring us for your move purpose. Please, no automobile motors, transmissions allowed. We also offer courier services via van, motorcycle or truck. If you need something picked up that is a heavy item, or small item such as parts, Macgyver Services is here to lend a hand.
